Welcome to the Massachusetts HIP, the migratory bird Harvest Information Program. If you intend to hunt woodcock, snipe, rails, ducks, geese, brant or coot in Massachusetts during 2010, you will need a HIP number. In completing this federally required program, you will be asked to tell us your 2009 hunting or sporting license number, the number of birds you harvested last year, and your name and address. This survey will take about 4 minutes to complete. If you do not have a 2009 license, you can still proceed to register for 2010. Please have a pencil or pen ready to write down your HIP number.
